Those of you who happen to frequent Ring Report know that from time to time my trusted colleague Tim and I like to share links to interesting stories as we find them in our daily net surfing. In that sense I would like to share with you all a very captivating article by Greg Smith entitled
"Y-Town, Pavlik, & A New Beginning" on 15 Rounds.com. While we have all engaged in the debate as to why Americans are rapidly disappearing from the upper echelon of boxing, more lucrative promise in other sports and the marginalization of boxing as a sport here in America to name a few, Smith brings to light some very poignant truths. Now I will warn you that it does read long and at times Smith seems to go off on a separate tangent but it is strongly recommended for the serious fight fan.
