One man's endearing is another man's irritating... Tim pretty much nailed it but the guy just never shuts up. I don't hate Paulie, really, but I don't love him either. Things like the hair extension shenanigans and some stinker fights don't help either. - Scott Kraus

I like Darchinyan, but there's no doubt he's a "heel." Same way with Paulie. He's not trying to be some big sportsman or anything -- he's always talking shit, and that pretty boy thing he does is right up the alley of great wrestling bad guys. I like Paulie, too, but most of the time he's going to be the guy getting booed. - Tim Starks

Why do people 'love to hate' Paulie Malignaggi? I find him to be mildly endearing and always amusing. The worst thing about him, IMHO, is his wardrobe.

PS I second Carl Froch as one worthy of consideration. - beccapooka

Koncz got mentioned in my "also considered" section along with a nickname that I really hope will stick.

Chavez Jr is a good call, but he's probably more an "also considered," though his resume grows by the day.

I DEFINITELY should have mentioned crappy judges, probably my biggest oversight. But who represents them? Gale Van Hoy? Pierre Benoist? Benoit Russell?

Pacquiao is one I don't agree with. As much as he irked me with the Floyd negotiations and some other questionable acts (like the Golden Boy briefcase), Pacquiao is still probably the biggest babyface fighting today. - Scott Kraus

Pretty good list of guys I missed, I don't know how I forgot Zab. Tarver's OK in my book, he's won me over in the announcing booth. Mundine and Darchinyan would have been good for an international flair, Mundine comes across as especially annoying. - Scott Kraus
